After Odaku warriors with fearsome energy weapons destroy a team of crack Ferroch commandos, Prince Dev and Princess Kyra discover that the world is threatened by a dire conspiracy. The evil Odaku witch-queen Scylla has built a vast army. Worse, she has forged and alliance with the dragon-traiter Stendhal, and summoned two Shadow-Dragons from the terrible realm. Together, they plan to conquer both the Human World and the Dragon World. Now Scylla is on the verge of recovering the Lodestone, an ancient mystical weapon whose powers will make her unstoppable.

Only Dev and Kyra can stop her now, with the aid of a mysterious young Odaku rebel named Gorhagar. Together the three teens must fulfill a destiny far beyond their wildest imaginings... while fate of two worlds hangs in the balance.
